Greetings Sorors and Friends:
Welcome to the official website of the Anniston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Chartered on May 30, 1965. Anniston Alumnae Chapter is a sisterhood of over 65 members, currently servicing the communities of Calhoun, Cleburne, and St. Clair counties.
For over 55 years, we have continued the legacy of our 22 Founders by implementing the Five Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness. Programs that you may be familiar with are our Annual Scholarship Gala that supports scholarships for high school seniors that are seeking to further their academic career by attending a college or university. We also host the Go Red Luncheon and Health Fair during the month of February for Women’s Heart Health Month.
By visiting the Anniston Alumnae Chapter website, it will give you an opportunity to look at initiatives that we engage in throughout the communities and learn more about our chapter. We invite you to become an active participant in our various programs and events. To stay abreast of what is going on, please visit our website and online calendar frequently.
If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and are seeking a Delta chapter to affiliate with, I encourage you with sisterly love to attend a chapter meeting which is typically held on the 1st Saturday of each month. You may also connect with us through the Visiting Soror tab via email firstvicepresident.dst.aac@gmail.com.
Thank you for taking time to visit and learn more about our chapter. We look forward to seeing you at one of our events.
